I don't want to have a site off of myshopkart.net. Can I use my own domain name so that people can come to my store without seeing the myshopcart.net address?

Yes, you can use your own domain name. Just tell us what what domain name you want after signing-up, we'll register it  & point it at your MyShopKart store (35$ setup fee)... You own & control the domain we setup for you though. So even if you decide to use your domain for another site later, you can. If you want to use a domain name you already own, your domain name registrar has to offer framed URL masking/fwding in order to point the domain at your cart. Just login to your domain cpanel to see if it's offered and to set it up. If you setup the domain with us, we take care of that for you.

To setup a store with your own domain, first setup you eStore then you can setup the domain from within your store control panel.

If I don't want to setup a domain now, can I still do that later?

Yes! You can add a domain at anytime - it's easy to integrate with an existing MyShopKart eStore. There is a link to setup a domain in every eStore control panel so it's a easy as clicking a button.

I'm not sure I really know how to do this. What exactly am I getting for my money?

You are getting a fully functional web store as described above. We host your website but you are in full control of it. Easy to use website utilities allow you to manage all the products you sell. There is also a comprehensive help system which will guide you through the setup of your store. And you can always ask questions through our support dept.

Can I create my own webpages using MyShopkart?

Absolutely! There is a built in what-you-see-is-what-you-get (wysiwyg) web page editor that allows you to create as many of your own pages as you require. The editor is a snap to use, like a word processor, and does not require that you have any html or programming knowledge.

Is my store loaded with any products to start?

No, your store is not loaded with any products. You decide what you want to sell in our store.  We provide the website & the shopping cart with some guidance on how to select what to sell & promote your site.

What's the limit on the number of products I can sell from my cart?

None - you can sell as many products as you choose.

How do I edit my site & add pictures of the products I want to sell?

There is a simple user-friendly administration web page you use to manage your cart. Through your admin page, you can add/remove products, upload pictures, adjust pricing, and change all aspects of your site.

Will you provide any support if I don't know how to manage my webstore?

Yes - just email us at support@myshopkart.net & we'll answer any questions you may have. But once you access the admin webpage, you'll likely see that it's a snap to setup your products & edit the site without our help. That's part of why this cart is so great - it's a no brainer to use...You can also live chat with us so we can provide real-time help.

What happens when I sell products from my webstore? How do I get paid & how does the product get delivered to my buyer?

The 1st thing you should do after signing up is to setup some basic settings:

• setup credit card processing ( no programming or startup fees required when you use paypal )

• setup your email address so that you're notified of any orders

Once this is done, you're all set. When someone orders from your webstore, the order details are captured, their credit card is charged & the funds are deposited into your account. You are notified by email that you have an order pending. You simply login to your webstore, grab the order details & have the item shipped.
